We’re simplifying our product portfolio: here’s what’s changing

Big news from the Yoast team! We’re making it easier than ever to get all the essential tools you need for SEO in just two powerful plans. We’ve made the decision to simplify our WordPress product portfolio at Yoast to make choosing the right SEO product more straightforward.

From July 1, 2025, instead of choosing between multiple separate plugins and bundles for your website, you’ll now find everything you need in just two complete, new, easy-to-understand subscriptions:

• Yoast SEO Premium
• Yoast WooCommerce SEO

This change gives you simple choices, more powerful tools, and easier support, all in one place!

Why we are making this change

Our customer research made something clear: offering ten separate Yoast plans for WordPress added unnecessary complexity. It made it harder to choose the right tools and created more moving parts for everyone.

At the same time, we’ve continued investing in new features, like collaborative content tools and AI-powered suggestions, while quietly absorbing rising costs to keep delivering value to our users.

By bringing everything together into just two complete, easy-to-understand plans, we’re making things simpler and delivering more value and a better experience. This change allows us to focus our energy where it counts: improving the experience, releasing new features faster, and supporting you more effectively at every step.

What is included in the new plans?

Each plan brings together the tools our customers already rely on, along with powerful extras that were previously sold separately, all under a single subscription.

Yoast SEO Premium

Designed for in-house marketing teams, content creators, entrepreneurs, and niche publishers who need guidance, not guesswork, when it comes to SEO.

You’ll get:

• Everything in the free Yoast SEO plugin (including the new Yoast llms.txt feature released in June)

Plus:

• Real-time Premium SEO content analysis to guide optimization directly in the WordPress editor
• Unlimited use of AI features (beta) to help generate and improve titles, meta descriptions, and more
• Redirect Manager to fix or prevent broken links and maintain SEO value
• Internal Linking Tool to suggest relevant links automatically and improve site structure
• Social Preview Tool to control how content appears on Facebook and X
• SEO Workouts that walk you through key SEO tasks, step-by-step
• Premium Crawl Optimization Settings help search engines focus on your most important content and let you indicate which parts of your site shouldn’t be used to train language models (LLMs)
• Front-end SEO Inspector to preview how your content performs
• [new] 1 free seat for the Yoast SEO Google Docs Add-on, launched in June 2025, to optimize content before it hits WordPress

Yoast SEO Premium also now includes all former add-on plugins:

• Yoast Local SEO, helps you get found in “near me” searches by adding local structured data and keeping your name, address, and phone (NAP) info consistent. It also lets you create pages for each location.

You’ll get:

• Everything in Yoast SEO Premium

And on top of that:

• Product-optimized SEO tools, including ecommerce-specific content analysis that checks image alt tags, product identifiers (like SKUs or GTINs), and short descriptions
• Smart product structured data that adds the right schema to help Google understand your products, prices, reviews, and availability
• WooCommerce-specific XML sitemaps, automatically excluding pages that don’t need to appear in search (like variations or coupons), and prioritizing what does
• Canonical management that ensures clean, consistent URLs so your product content ranks properly, without duplication issues
• AI-generated metadata for product pages, helping you write better, click-worthy titles and descriptions in seconds

Whether you’re running a growing online store or selling niche products to a global market, Yoast WooCommerce SEO helps your listings show up clean, rich, and clickable, without technical SEO expertise.

What this means for current customers

If you already enjoy a Yoast SEO Premium subscription, or any combination of Premium, Local SEO, News SEO, or Video SEO, your plan will automatically transition to the new, enhanced Yoast SEO Premium on July 31, 2025.

All customers will receive personalized communication with details about how these changes affect their subscription.

Here’s what to expect with renewals

Depending on your current plan, this update may result in a slightly higher or lower renewal price. Either way, you’re getting significantly more value in a streamlined subscription that’s easier to manage.

Customers with bundles or multiple subscriptions will likely enjoy a price reduction, while those with individual plugins will gain access to enhanced tools and improvements that reflect our ongoing investment in your success.

For now, you’ll continue to install each plugin separately—but managing your subscription just got a whole lot easier. No more juggling multiple licenses or renewal dates! We’re excited to bring you more value and a smoother experience every step of the way.

Summary of changes

All prices are shown without VAT. Subscriptions are billed annually. The changes apply to all available currencies ($, £ and €)

We understand this is a change

We know that any change in pricing is sensitive, especially when it increases. We’ve done our best to reflect the added value in these new plans while keeping prices as reasonable as possible.

This update gives all customers access to new features like our AI tools and a seat to collaborate easier with our new Yoast SEO Google Docs add-on. It also positions us to deliver faster improvements and a smoother experience over time.
